Every year a judging panel consisting of cinema experts awards the best short film with the Lorenzo Vecchio Award, and decides to give special mentions for artistic and technichal qualities.

The Jury is the flagship of the festival and, over the past years, we have had the pleasure to have on board well-known directors including Paolo Sorrentino, Giuseppe Piccioni, Antonio Rezza, Franco Maresco, Francesco Bruni, Michelangelo Frammartino and Gianluca De Serio.

But also actresses such as Sandra Ceccarelli, Donatella Finocchiaro, Valentina Lodovini, Isabella Ragonese and Marina Rocco, screenwriters including Federica Pontremoli, the Iranian actor and editor Babak Karimi (Winner of the Silver Bear in Berlin), the editors Roberto Perpignani and Jacopo Quadri, the film critics Adriano Amidei Migliano and Mario Serenellini, the Dutch animator Gerrit Van Dijk and many others.
